I can’t give enough praise to the service provided by Simon and his team. They were there to help me navigate an extremely challenging tax situation at a very difficult time in my life following the death of a loved one. The care and compassion was beyond what I had from any other company I was dealing with at this time. But most impressive was their knowledge and attention to detail that ended up cutting a tax bill down to a fraction of the HMRC claim. My only regret was not finding them earlier after wasting money with other advisors that did very little and just took my money.
I would recommend them to anyone! Keep up the great work.
Company response : Dear Walton

Many thanks for your kind words, it was our pleasure to be able to assist you at this difficult time.

Kind regards
.

What is a self-assessment tax return?

If you have income that isn’t taxed through a workplace pay-as-you-earn (PAYE) scheme, you’ll probably need to submit a personal tax return. Under the HMRC self-assessment regime, you’ll have to work out how much tax you believe you owe and let the Government know. If you’re a sole trader and your turnover was more than £1,000 or you’re in a business partnership, you must complete a return.

Accountant fees for personal tax returns in the UK

Some accountants charge by the hour, for every phone call they make and each email they send. Others lock you into a monthly subscription, or a hefty annual retainer. Honestly, if you just want a relatively simple tax return sorting out, it’s a bit much. That’s why we offer fixed fees for our self-assessment tax return service – so you’ll always know upfront what you’ll be charged, and what you’ll get for your money.

Our tax return professionals will complete the self-assessment process on your behalf – accurately and quickly. That means peace of mind and a difficult job off your to-do list, for a fair fee.

Proven expertise on self-assessment tax

When writers at The Guardian wanted to talk about tax returns they came straight to us. As we always do, we gave clear, straight answers to the questions they asked on behalf of their readers.

The resulting article is a great read if you want a neat summary of all the issues, from how self-assessment works to finding the right accountant for you – and how much you ought to think about paying for a tax return service, too.

And remember, if you have questions that aren’t dealt with there, or want to get the latest advice, don't hesitate to get in touch. We’re always happy to talk tax returns, and not just with journalists from national newspapers.
